What to Expect
The Grouse Mountain Skyride is a one-kilometre aerial tramway that climbs to the 1,250-metre summit of Grouse Mountain above North Vancouver. At the top, panoramic views stretch from the city to Vancouver Island.
Year-round attractions include a grizzly bear refuge, a lumberjack show, ziplines, paragliding and a theatre of nature films. In winter the summit adds skiing, snowshoeing and an outdoor ice rink.
Best Time to Visit
June–September for the lumberjack show and bears; winter for snow activities.
Practical Tips
Take the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay then bus 236, or drive to 6400 Nancy Greene Way. Buy tickets online for a discount; allow a half day on the mountain.
