Canada's largest living historical village, spanning the 1860s to the 1950s.
What to Expect
Heritage Park Historical Village is Canada's largest living history museum, with more than 180 exhibits and structures spanning the fur-trade era through the 1950s. Costumed interpreters populate a prairie town, a working antique steam train, a paddlewheeler on the Glenmore Reservoir and a vintage midway.
The park is split into three eras, letting you walk from a Hudson's Bay Company fur-trade post to a 1910 main street in a single afternoon. It's one of the most rewarding family attractions in southern Alberta.
Best Time to Visit
MayβOctober for the full historical village; Gasoline Alley museum is open year-round.
